Party Reservation - Middleton Studio

Booking a party is easy! Make your selections using the dropdown menus, then click Schedule Your Time to view available party openings on our calendar.

Party FAQ:

A RPS art party is a wonderful option for children ages 4-13 looking to gather with friends in a calm, creative environment. Every party includes private studio time, custom-prepped art materials, and two hands-on party hosts, so your child's party runs smoothly and gets plenty of attention from start to finish. 

We currently offer parties on Sundays at 10am or 2pm. Beginning in December 2026, Saturdays are also available to book.

A party booking reserves 2 hours in the studio. This includes 90 minutes of party time, plus 15 minutes before the party for the host family to set up and 15 minutes after to pack up.

Parties are designed for up to 10 children. The birthday child and participating siblings should be included in your guest count. If you'd like to add extra guests, we can accommodate up to 16 children ($25 per additional child).

Our Middleton studio is small and cozy, and we can accommodate no more than 25 people total (children + grown ups + party hosts) in our studio space. For younger children whose parents need to stay, please plan on a smaller group of children and limit to one parent per child to stay within our total occupancy limit. Due to the small nature of our studio, drop-off is preferred for children ages 5+ to give them space to create. Parents of the birthday child should always stay. 

A Rock Paper Scissors Party Includes:

*Custom Birthday Banner: All parties include a custom birthday banner handmade for your child. Guests will help color in the banner, and you will take it home.

Hit the easy button with our sustainable party supply rental and affordable party favor options. Or turn your child's custom birthday banner into a special framed keepsake. 

• Party Favors - Mini Bracelet Making Kits or Mini Paint Easel Kits ($5 each x final guest count)
• Party Supply Rental - please consider the earth! We offer an easy option to use our colorful and reusable plates, cups, utensils, plus napkins for cake time. We do the dishes! ($20)
• Framed Birthday Poster - take home a special keepsake section of your child’s birthday banner for their room. See photos for an example. Frame is 20x24. ($40)
• Extra Guests - max of 16 ($25 per extra guest)

 *Please note any add-on requests in the booking questionnaire at checkout, so we can personalize your final party plan and prepare accordingly. 

Treat & Presents Time:

For birthdays, the last 20-30 minutes of your party will be dedicated for treat and presents. Host must bring treat and beverages, as well as party plates, napkins and utensils unless choosing our party supply rental option. Please no nuts -- we are a NUT FREE STUDIO. 

Party Policies:

• A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to reserve your date.
• You will receive an immediate order confirmation, then a party planning email, and finally a guest count request before your party date.
• An invoice for final payment will be sent after the party. Please pay within 24 hours so we don't have to follow up.
• In case of inclement weather or illness of the birthday child, parties may be cancelled. We will do our best to offer a date to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed.
• Please inform your guests to dress for mess! Most of our materials are washable, but some materials may be harder to remove than others.
• Rock Paper Scissors does not assume liability for the children. The adults who remain present assume liability.
