Party Reservation

We are currently booking parties online for March to early June 2026. We only host a few parties each month, so don't wait to book! Summer parties (June-August) are very limited and by email request only as our small team is busy with summer camps. 

Please read all the details below before booking. 

Party FAQ:

A studio art party is a wonderful option for children ages 4-13 looking to gather with friends in a calm, creative environment.

We offer parties on Sundays at 10am or 2pm. Parties are 1.5 hours in length. Birthday family also has an additional 15 minutes before party time for set up and 15 minutes after for pack up.

Parties are designed for 12 guests. Birthday child and participating siblings should be included in the guest count. (Starting in June 2026, our studio will be able to accommodate up to 16 children for parties - $20 extra per additional child).

Our studio is small and cozy, so we can accommodate no more than 15 people total (children + grown ups + teacher) in our current studio space. For younger children whose parents need to stay, please plan for a smaller group of children (less than 12) and limit to one parent per child to stay within that total. (Starting in June 2026, we can accommodate 25 people total). 

Parent participation is required for parties with children 5 and under. Due to the small nature of our studio, drop-off is preferred for children ages 6+ to give them space to create. Parents of the birthday child should always stay. 

A Rock Paper Scissors Party Includes:

*Custom Birthday Banner: All parties include a custom birthday banner handmade for your child. Guests will help color in the banner, and you will take it home.

Hit the easy button with our sustainable party supply rental and affordable party favor options. Or turn your child's custom birthday banner into a special framed keepsake. 

• Party Favors - Mini Bracelet Making Kits or Mini Paint Easel Kits ($5 each x final guest count)
• Party Supply Rental - please consider the earth! We offer an easy option to use our colorful and reusable plates, cups, utensils, plus napkins for cake time.  We do the dishes! ($15)
• Framed Birthday Poster - take home a special keepsake section of your child’s birthday banner for their room. See photos for an example. Frame is 12x18. ($20)
• Extra Guests - starting in June 2026, add up to 4 more guests ($20 per extra guest)

*Please note any add-on requests in the booking questionnaire at checkout, so we can personalize your final party plan and prepare accordingly. 

Treat & Presents Time:

For birthdays, the last 20-30 minutes of your party will be dedicated for treat and presents. Host must bring treat and beverages, as well as party plates, napkins and utensils unless choosing our party supply rental option. Please no nuts -- we are a NUT FREE STUDIO. 

Party Policies:

• A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to reserve your date.
• You will receive an immediate order confirmation, and we will reach out for party planning a few weeks before your party date.
• An invoice for final payment will be sent after the party. Please pay within 24 hours so we don't have to follow up.
• In case of inclement weather or illness of the birthday child, parties may be cancelled. We will do our best to offer a date to reschedule, but this is not guaranteed.
• Please inform your guests to dress for mess! Most of our materials are washable, but some materials may be harder to remove than others.
• Rock Paper Scissors does not assume liability for the children. The adults who remain present assume liability.
